What about Bob?
Leading up to my wedding a year and a half ago, I was a member of Promatx gym and trained with one of the owners Frank Crabtree. Frank is an AMAZING trainer!! He knows his stuff and is so much fun to work with!!! He helped me get in the best shape I’ve ever been in (until I let it go to hell). I love Promatx and never would have left if I hadn’t moved all the way across town.
But I did! And for a year we were out of the gym. We went on the occasional walk and I went to the gym with a friend once or twice, but no regular activity. We had been so busy leading up to that big day that we were just content to stay home with each other and play house. We cooked dinners, watched movies, we got a puppy, and life just sort of happened as we watched from the comfort of our couch. It was wonderful really, but it also made me fat!
My friend and co-worker Becky Tomb told me about Bob Tomb. Bob is her husband. He is also a trainer at LAC and had a spot open. So we finally decided it was time to get our larger than ever butts back in the gym. We met with Bob and he is awesome! He made us excited about starting this whole process (again). We talked about how large a role nutrition plays in weight loss and how the most important thing is to be prepared! My biggest downfall is when I’m starving and don’t have anything with me. I will go to the nearest drive thru. No seriously the guy at McDonald’s recognizes me!
So Bob, Patch and I have met a few times and its going well. We are going to start this work out experiment on Friday. I will tell more about it after we get through the first session. I’m a little nervous, but I trust that Bob knows what he’s talking about. He has been training since the 80’s!
